In the U.S., however, falafel has become synonymous with the ​lunch and fast food scene. Whether as a stand-alone side, or ​the main feature for sandwiches and wraps, falafel has entered ​the American food scene and solidified its position as a protein-​packed and vegetarian-friendly go-to item.
